Welcome to Forge House Yaxham Bed and Breakfast.
We offer adult only bed and breakfast accommodation in a historic, peaceful and rural location, close to amenities and transport links in Dereham, the heart of Norfolk. With 5 distinct rooms within the house and courtyard areas, we can cater to your preferences.
Forge House is an old Victorian pub, formerly the Bush Inn, which was converted into a house around 50 years ago. Plenty of period features still remain, including the original Morgan's brewery lamp and our beer cellar hatch.
There's plenty of space and privacy at our property, such as our enclosed courtyard which is a sun trap in the warmer months. Enjoy a drink from our well-stocked honesty bar, with a roaring fire in our guest lounge during the winter months.
Located right next to Yaxham Station on the Mid Norfolk Heritage railway, our B&B is the perfect vantage point for watching the trains go by with steam season running from May-September.
After leaving our busy careers in London to return to Norfolk life, we have loved turning our home into a cosy B&B for our guests to enjoy. We hope to see you soon!
